Sue works in West Somerset and the rural coastline. Sue joined the team in November 2023 as the area-co-ordinator for Somerset Coast.

Sue moved to Somerset in 2007 with her young family. Shortly after, she set up a babysitting agency offering childcare to local families. Prior to joining PROMISEworks , Sue had 6 years’ experience working in an educational background supporting young children’s social and emotional development. Implementing strategies to nurture positive relationships with the children and build their resilience. As a previous Thrive Practitioner, Sue understands the importance of communication and the significance of building positive relationships with children and young people.

Sue has recently expanded her role to support some of the Taunton mentors but remains committed to developing the service in the beautiful coastal region to enhance the wellbeing of children and young people in the area.
