The PROMISEworks Doll’s house has been meticulously transformed into a work of art over the last five years from an off-the-shelf model and we are raffling this remarkable creation to raise funds for our Winter Hardship Fund, supporting vulnerable young people across Somerset.
Support a Great Cause: Our Winter Hardship Fund
Winter can be a difficult time for everyone but with the rising cost of living, this winter is going to be even tougher for some. PROMISEworks fundraises to maintain a small hardship fund so that when the unexpected happens we are sometimes able to help out our mentees just that little bit extra. A warm coat, emergency fuel or a pair of wellies… little things that can make all the difference.
This is where all proceeds from our raffle will be going towards, helping to provide essential support and make Winter that little bit easier for our mentees, aged between 5-25 years old.
About the Doll’s House:
- Ground Floor & Basement Pub:
- The basement houses a charming pub, complete with real slate floors, a bar, restaurant, and games room. A blank pub sign is included, allowing you to personalize the establishment. A fully lit courtyard sits under a cobbled street that can be positioned in front of the house.
- Witch’s Attic:
- The attic is a whimsical retreat for a witch, furnished with a kitchen, bedroom, and workroom filled with potion ingredients and witchy artifacts.
- Main Living Spaces:
- The doll’s house boasts a freestanding kitchen with terracotta tiles, complete with crockery, cutlery, and a lit stove. A cozy study area tucks under the stairs, while the spacious sitting/dining room is perfect for relaxation and socializing.
- Bedroom & Bathroom:
- These rooms are designed with elegance, offering ample space for further customization.
Additional Features:
- The house comes with a full wiring diagram, making it easy to manage lighting and replace any bulbs.
- A delightful box of extras is included, featuring spare chess pieces, pub playing cards, Christmas decorations, and additional “witchy” items, ensuring the creative possibilities are endless.
- Also included is a book documenting the journey of this extraordinary build, making it a truly personal and unforgettable gift.
How to Enter:
- Ticket Price: £10 per entry, with unlimited entries.
- Eligibility: Open to all residents of mainland Great Britain aged 18 or over.
- Draw Date: December 2, 2024. The winner will be selected randomly in an independently supervised draw and will be notified within 7 days.
- Closing Date: Purchase your tickets by November 30, 2024, to be in the running.
- Prize Delivery: The Doll’s house will be delivered free of charge, just in time for Christmas!
